Is it possible to bury an above ground pool in the ground?
Burying an above ground swimming pool would result in the voiding of your warranty with most manufacturers. Yes it could be done. Fill your pool up with water and wait a few days to see if there are any leaks. If there aren't any leaks, then back fill the dirt against the wall. You may want to spray on a extra layer of moisture protection to protect the wall from the chemicals in the dirt prior to back filling. Leaving at least a foot out of the ground, 6" minimum. The ground on the outside of the pool tends to cave in without the weight of the water pushing against it. You should also dig the hole at least 3' bigger than
the pool all the way around to facilitate installation. And never, ever, leave the pool sit empty.
