Calcium Chloride flakes raise the current hardness level of your pool or spa water in areas where soft water is a problem. Dosage rates vary based upon pool volume and current hardness level. If the hardness level of your pool water drops below 150ppm, just add calcium harness increaser. 5 pounds will raise the hardness level in 10,000 gallons approximately 40 ppm.
