On above ground pools, the overlap liner hangs slightly over the pool wall. It is secured with coping strips, then covered up when the top-rail is reattached. These coping strips are sturdy, yet flexible, and can be cut to required lengths. Throw out those old, worn out coping strips and replace them with new ones. These plastic, non-corrosive clips hold your liner in place on the pool wall before re-installing the top rail. Brand new coping strips will help insure a firm, proper liner installation.
